Am I Hacked? does not collect, upload, sell, or share your personal data or security assessment information.
1. Overview
Am I Hacked? ("the App") is a guided iPhone security assessment that helps you review important security, privacy, and account settings.
The App is designed to work without requiring an account and without sending your security assessment information to us.
2. Data We Collect
We do not collect personal data through the App.
The App does not collect or transmit to us:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your phone number
- Your location
- Your contacts
- Your photos or videos
- Your browsing history
- Your Apple Account credentials
- Your iPhone passcode
- Your two-factor authentication codes
- Your security assessment answers or results
3. Security Assessment Data
Answers and results generated during a security assessment are processed locally within the App.
Assessment history is stored locally by the App on your device. We do not operate a server that receives your assessment answers, risk scores, findings, or assessment history.
You can delete your stored assessment history at any time from within the App.
4. Tracking, Analytics and Advertising
Am I Hacked? does not use third-party advertising SDKs or third-party analytics SDKs.
We do not use the App to track you across apps or websites, create advertising profiles, or sell personal information.
5. Local Notifications
If you choose to enable security check reminders, the App may request permission to send notifications.
These reminders are scheduled locally on your device. The App does not send your assessment information to our servers in order to provide these reminders.
You can disable notifications at any time through your iPhone settings.
6. In-App Purchases
Am I Hacked? may offer optional Pro features through an in-app purchase.
Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store and StoreKit. We do not collect or store your payment card details.
Apple's processing of information related to App Store purchases is governed by Apple's own privacy policy and terms.
7. Exporting and Sharing Reports
If you choose to export or share an assessment report, the action is initiated by you using Apple's sharing functionality.
You choose the application or service to which the report is sent. Any information you voluntarily share with another service is subject to that service's privacy practices.
8. GDPR and European Privacy
Am I Hacked? is designed with privacy-by-design and data minimization principles in mind.
We do not collect or transmit personal data from the App to our servers for analytics, advertising, profiling, or security assessment processing.
Because assessment information remains under your control on your device, you can remove the locally stored assessment history using the App's data deletion option.

9. Data Retention and Deletion
Because we do not receive your assessment history on our servers, we do not maintain a server-side copy of that information.
Assessment history stored by the App can be deleted from within the App's settings.
10. Children's Privacy
The App does not require users to create an account and is not designed to collect personal information from children.
11. Security Assessment Disclaimer
Am I Hacked? is a guided security assessment tool. It is not antivirus software, a malware scanner, or a forensic security tool.
The Security Risk Score represents potential risk indicators identified from the assessment. It does not represent a scientifically determined probability that an iPhone has been hacked and cannot prove whether a device is or is not compromised.
12. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy if the App's functionality or privacy practices change.
If we introduce analytics, advertising, cloud storage, accounts, or any other feature that changes how information is handled, this Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly.
